A new update of GTA 5 Redux is out that allows it to work with the latest version of GTA V (1.0.1290.1).
There have been a few changes to assist in stability and make it easier to install Redux.
This first thing you will notice is a GTA 5 Redux intro video (thanks to Hermann Hub for permission) and logo have been added to the mod so you will know right away if the mod has loaded.
A major rework of all Re-Shade filters and how to install them has been completed by Lord Tachanka to make them fully compatible with the latest version of Re-Shade. Lord Tachanka had to do some of this task by sight alone and has done a brilliant job of converting the filters. Its also worth noting that some users experience crashes with Re-Shade and makes the game un-usable. This is out of our control, but it is still possible to play Redux without Re-Shade filters.
ENB has now been removed as part Redux; this is because the graphical improvements to mod were minimal and often caused crashes and a drop in FPS; this removal should improve the overall stability of the mod. However we may look at re adding ENB in future releases if we believe it is stable enough and adds enough value.
A major re-work of the installation guide has been completed to simplify the install process to reduce confusion to people who are not used to modding GTA V. We hope that it makes GTA 5 Redux and modding in general a little more accessible to new modders.
Version 1.4 is already planned with more improvements and fixes to make a better all around experience. We hope you enjoy!
